Serbia is Live!

The Tide is expanding into the Balkan Region, with the ambitious goal of launching broadcasts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia, as well as adding more programming in North Macedonia.

Thanks to the tireless work of our teams and the generous support of friends like you, we have began streaming in Serbia! Here are some of the first responses we have received in Serbia:

Thank you for these powerful stories of new life in Christ. I have enjoyed every single story and I have shared them with my family and friends. They are so beautiful because everyone is so honest and real. These testimonies are so powerful and important for our country that is suffocated by Serbian/Russian Orthodoxy that operates more like a political party than a religious organization. We were raised to be religious and follow the Holy days but were never taught how to personally know God. I think these stories you are producing will bring many people to Jesus, to a true and fulfilling relationship with the only God worthy to be worshiped. Thank you. Such inspiring work! I’m praying for a huge harvest.

I watch your stories every week. I wait forward for the new story of God’s power you will share. I listen on the radio the longer versions as well as the shorter versions. Your stories inspire me every single day. I have been deeply touched by Zika’s story. I found myself on that story. Like Zika, I lost my mom at a young age. That is a pain that no other human can fill. I thank God my father was a good man and he took good care of us, as little kids. I could feel Zika’s pain, but his words were so full with grace and peace. I thank the Lord that in the middle of the pain He found him and brought him to Himself. As a child of God he is healed and is able to forgive his father for his abuse. What a powerful story of endurance, strength, grace and forgiveness. Thank you for strengthening the church through this work.

The next step is to begin television broadcasting in Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, followed by Croatia. However, progress is slower than anticipated due political instability as well as an environment very hostile to the Gospel. In North Macedonia, there have been threats of violence and an arson attempt directed at the broadcasting location. We are thankful that so far, broadcasts have not been impacted. Please continue to pray for our workers as we press forward in this volatile region home to many people who have not been touched by the Gospel.
