All I Know

May 3, 2026

Many would have thought of Grant as an unreachable, unsavable, lost cause to be steered clear of. His life was consumed by heavy drug use, gambling, larceny, and violent tendencies.

God didn’t see him that way.

When Grant came to faith in Jesus, he came as a young man who made many bad choices, faced the consequences, cried out to God and experienced that God is as forgiving as He is holy, and his life was changed.

On one occasion, Grant was sharing the Gospel with a gentleman who challenged his faith and suggested that God was nothing more than a figment of his imagination and a crutch. At that moment, Grant’s face, and his whole countenance changed. He took a breath and uttered the words “All I know. . .” and then proceeded to relay to the man a slew of sins, destructive habits, and dark footholds that characterized his life.  He finished up with “. . . but then I met Jesus.”

Sins, destructive habits, and dark footholds are not unique to Grant. Though they can take different forms, they are very real to young people around the world including the Balkan region, which continues to experience the repercussions of the war with Iran. Albania is home to the fortified camp of the Islamic group known as the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK). It is an organization that was once designated as a terrorist organization.

In the midst of political tensions and security concerns stemming from the MEK presence, and the spillover from the Iran conflict, The Tide remains committed to supporting local pastors and empowering them to reach spiritually hungry hearts with the unchanging message of Jesus Christ. The Tide also partners with Radio 7 to produce Christian programs in the Albanian language. These broadcasts serve as effective church-planting tools, enabling pastors to disciple those who respond to the Gospel message. The youth program “Time to Talk” features young Christians from cities in Albania and Kosovo sharing their testimonies about their faith in Christ. Though they may say it differently, they are sharing their “All I know . . . ” stories, just as Grant did.

One viewer wrote about feeling empty after being abandoned by their father, despite achieving academic success. They wrote, “Through the programs I have learned to forgive my father and to get closer to My Father in Heaven. He will never leave me or forsake me.”

Through your support, The Tide brings the message of the life-changing power of Jesus who can change Grant’s life, the lives of Albanian youth, and even the lives of members of MEK, should they call upon the precious name of Jesus. No one is beyond His reach or His ability to save.

What is your “All I know”? As you think about it, consider how you might pray for Radio 7, Albanian pastors, the salvation of MEK members, and also about how you might share your “All I know” story with someone.
