Thailand Update to Twin Testimonies

June 12, 2025

Earlier this spring we shared a pair of testimonies from Thailand as part of our quarterly newsletter mailing. You can find them on our blog if you missed it. The testimonies are twins – both featuring a 72-year old gentleman named Paw, but they could not be more different.

We are excited to provide you with an update on one of these brothers, as well as a new testimony from – you guessed it – a third man named Paw!

Previously, we shared that Paw had tried to commit suicide the day before he was able to hear the phone number of our Life’s Answers program. Prior to this, he had tried contacting our program, but every time the phone number was given during a broadcast all he heard was static. It was a miraculous story of God’s intervention saving a soul, as he gave his life to Christ. Our team visited Paw and helped to connect him to staff and a local fellowship.

Don and Becky were able to visit Paw along with our team and hear more of his story. We praise God that Paw was baptized in March! We were also able to contact the Department of Health to consult about how to assist this man who lives alone and needs to go for dialysis 2-3 times per week. The local township office and social services were made aware of his situation. At the end of March, Paw re-opened a noodle soup shop in front of his house with some start-up financial support from a few people at his church. He wants people to see how God has changed his life.

Sometimes, twins are not enough. Don and Becky were able to visit a third gentleman named Paw, who is part of a Mennonite house church group in his village. He had been listening to the Life’s Answers program for over a year. The local leader in this house church group began doing house to house evangelism and came to Paw’s home. According to the leader, Paw came to faith very quickly because he already had a foundation after listening to the radio program for so long.

We praise God that He can save, redeem, and transform a life, and we praise God for the testimonies of Paw #1, #2, and #3. May we continue to see many more from all walks of life come into the Kingdom.
