The Cooperative Nature of Global Evangelism

February 16, 2026

The heart of The Tide ministry is to share the Gospel through relevant and engaging media presentations and supplemental activities designed to guide people to embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior and to grow in the Christian faith. Our current mission statement, “Creatively sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ worldwide through media and partnerships,” reflects our commitment to the strategic utilization of innovative media and strong relationships to extend the reach of the gospel around the globe.

Scripture may not directly address the creative use of media, but it clearly shapes our conviction that evangelism is to be carried out cooperatively by all members of the Body of Christ. During His earthly ministry Jesus Himself fostered cooperation by sending His disciples out in pairs, empowering them to support one another and carry the message more effectively than any one person could alone. After his resurrection, Jesus entrusted the Great Commission to a community of believers, calling them to work together to reach the nations and make disciples. The Apostle Paul later described the Church as one body with many parts, each contributing uniquely to God’s redemptive mission. This cooperative mandate remains essential today. At The Tide, we see this biblical model reflected in the way God multiplies our impact through cooperative ministry ventures. No single ministry can fully address the vast spiritual needs of a global audience on its own. God has designed His Church to function as a network of interconnected people and ministries, each contributing unique strengths, resources, and perspectives for the advancement of His Kingdom far beyond what any one individual or organization could accomplish alone.

This is why representatives from The Tide ministry are attending the 2026 NRB Convention in Nashville this week. The annual NRB convention provides a strategic setting for networking and meaningful engagement with other Christian ministries, broadcasters, digital media leaders, and mission organizations. Connecting with others through pre-arranged meetings, general sessions or informal conversations in the exhibit hall provides opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships, form new relationships, and to interact with and learn from a diversity of national and international Christian organizations. These relationships can directly impact our ability to fulfill our mission by opening doors for new media opportunities, collaborative projects, and strategic distribution channels that help you, The Tide ministry, and our boots on the ground in multiple countries to reach more people for Christ in more places.

While The Tide is deeply committed to serving and supporting international partners, our mission is not fulfilled through international partnerships alone. Building strong domestic relationships is also a vital part of our strategy. Connecting with individuals, churches, ministries, broadcasters, and Christian leaders across the United States helps raise awareness of The Tide’s work and cultivate prayer, financial support, and strategic collaboration. These domestic connections position The Tide to be a stronger, more reliable resource for our international partners as they carry the Gospel into their unique cultural and ministry contexts.

In this way, domestic and international partnerships work hand in hand. Support, encouragement, and shared vision at home help fuel effective ministry abroad. Likewise, global partnerships inspire and inform our domestic supporters, reminding us that God has called all of us to be a part of something far bigger than any one person or organization.

As The Tide continues to build relationships at NRB 2026 and beyond, we do so with a commitment to unity, cooperation, and faithfulness to Christ’s mandate. “Partnerships” isn’t just a nice word to round out The Tide mission statement; it is a critical component of who we are as a mission organization and what God has called us to do. Working together across ministries, borders, and media platforms better equips us to creatively share the Good News of Jesus Christ worldwide and to make disciples of Christ for the glory of God.
