Showing Appreciation to The Tide ‘Boots on the Ground’ Pastors During October
October 6, 2025
There is no shortage of Appreciation and Awareness Days/Months to celebrate each year, but one that holds a high level of importance to The Tide Ministry is Pastor Appreciation Month, held each October. This is a time to let our Pastors know how much we care for them and appreciate all they do throughout the year.
Our appreciation is two-fold:
- We are truly grateful for each Pastor here in America who supports The Tide ministry through prayer and giving, as well as participating in and promoting various events we host each year to help bring awareness to the work God is accomplishing around the world.
- In addition, we are thankful for each of our ‘boots on the ground’ pastors around the globe who sacrificially serve their communities, sometimes in hostile and dangerous environments.
While Pastor Appreciation Month is mainly celebrated in America, we desire to show our sincerest gratitude to each pastor we come into contact with, both here and far; and you as our supporter play a huge role in this. We could not do what we do without your prayers, financial support, and help with bringing awareness to the ministry. For this, we say thank you!
As many of the listeners to our heart language media broadcasts do not have the means to show their appreciation in a tangible way, we are filled with joy each time quarterly reports from the field include testimonies from listeners around the world who express gratitude and encouragement for their radio/television pastors. Here are a few examples.
- Pastor, your message always amaze[s] me. When you preach, I can tell you a[re] different from other people’s sermons. You don’t talk about other churches. But preaching so that all people should be saved. – Chichewa Listener in Mozambique
- This program has truly helped guide my life in the right direction and has supported me in finding solutions to my problems. I really appreciate the way your hosts speak and explain things — it’s very admirable to me. I sincerely thank your entire team from the bottom of my heart and pray that you continue to produce such strong and beautiful programs in the future. – Sindhi Listener in Pakistan
- Pastor Klodi is like a family member now for us. We listen to him together with my wife and teen children. And this is a family tradition for over 5 years. We learn together and this time has brought us closer to one another and closer to Jesus. Pastor Klodi gave us solar powered radios and those have been a great blessing for our family. Radio 7 is non stop on, in our house. Thank you for building the church in Albania. – Listener in Albania
As we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month this year, giving gifts and writing notes to our pastors here in America, we invite you to also write an encouraging message to The Tide indigenous pastors to let them know they are prayed over, appreciated, and loved.
Encouraging messages may be sent to info@thetide.org.
