Race to Share the Gospel Around the World Virtual Challenge

October 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am October 23, 2022 @ 11:59 pm EDT

Join The TideĀ® ministry in taking God’s Word to unreached locations through your participation in the Race to Share the Gospel Around the World virtual challenge.

This year’s event will benefit our new Pashto language children’s radio program in Afghanistan and is designed for families, friends, and small or large groups to participate in making an eternal impact in the lives of millions around the world.

The challenge is to run, walk, bike, hike, or even swim to the finish line. The goal is 13 miles (one mile for each thousand dollars it takes to fund the project) spread across 16 days. Because this is a challenge, and not a traditional race, you are able to break it up over the 2-week period. Doing as little as 1-mile per day will allow you to complete the challenge in the allotted time.

This may sound like a lot . . . BUT WAIT! Life doesn’t come easy for many Afghans, so we invite you to accept this challenge that may not come easy to you.

No matter your location, whether Chambersburg, PA, North America, or somewhere around the world, you can make a difference from right where you are!

Have questions? Email: race@thetide.org

If you are in the Chambersburg area, we hope you will join us for our family-friendly kickoff event on Saturday, October 8th from 10-2 in Norlo Park located in Fayetteville, PA. T-Shirts for pre-registered participants will be available that day for you to pick up along with some fun activities for your family to enjoy.

Attention Youth Pastors!

If you are looking for a way to introduce your students to the world beyond your church building and help them understand the importance of missions, or perhaps give them an opportunity to practice what you have already taught them, then we invite your student group to partner with us!

This yearā€™s Race will benefit our new Pashto language childrenā€™s radio show in Afghanistan. This program will cost approximately $13,000 for an entire year of production and broadcasting, which includes studio and airtime costs, the writing and recording of music, and our ā€˜boots on the groundā€™ discipleship team who follows up with listeners. Because this new program is geared toward children, we are offering an opportunity for groups of young people to sponsor the event.

Thank you to our Sponsors!
