The Tide® Gospel Ministry Celebrates Lives Changed in Zimbabwe

The Tide® ministry is continuing our mission of spreading the hope of Christ worldwide while still celebrating 75 years of global outreach. The ministry shares the Gospel daily in over 30 different languages in 39 countries on three continents, reaching millions of people including those in Afghanistan, Albania, Bhutan, India, Kosovo, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, and Zimbabwe.

Throughout the past year, the Lord has clearly been moving in Zimbabwe. In areas that may have never heard the Good News, many people who live in these places choose “alternative” methods to heal maladies, both physical and spiritual.

The Tide® Director, Don Shenk, stated, “For places that have been consumed by darkness, the Gospel of Christ is a beacon of light that provides a way for people to have a meaningful relationship with God. We at The Tide® are humbled by the idea that God is still utilizing this organization to reach his lost children, and we will continue to share the message of Christ until He calls us home.”

Many Zimbabweans identify as Christian, but a large number of them still participate in traditional African religious practices including ancestral spirit worship and witchcraft. Even though Zimbabwe has been fairly extensively evangelized there are still many who need to hear the Gospel message, and others who are hungry to learn more about Jesus Christ.

This is why the need for The Tide® ministry is still so great. We often receives comments and notes from listeners, thanking them for sharing the Good News and opening their eyes to the truth of the Gospel:

“Thank you for the word of God. I was blessed. I want to be liberated by the Blood of Jesus.”

“Hello, I appreciate the Word. God bless you. I was happy because of your uplifting word. Thank you.”

“How are you, pastors? I was touched by your preaching. I want to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior of my life. I want to live my life for Jesus.”

It is stories and testimonials such as these that remind us of the eternal purpose that we are working towards.
