God Heals the Sick and Changes Lives in India, Nepal, and Bhutan

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.ā€” Celebrating 75 years of service for Christ, The TideĀ® (www.TheTide.org)  ministry is continuing its mission of spreading the hope of Christ worldwide. The TideĀ® ministry tells the truth of the Gospel to people through radio broadcasts all around the world, all spoken in the heart languages people were born to speak. The TideĀ® ministry shares the Gospel daily in over 30 different languages, in 39 countries on three continents, reaching millions of people including those in Afghanistan, Albania, Bhutan, India, Kosovo, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, and Zimbabwe.

The Lord has been clearly moving in India, Nepal, and Bhutan over the past few months. In areas that may have never heard the Good News, many people who live in these places choose ā€œalternativeā€ methods to heal maladies, both physical and spiritual.

The TideĀ® Director Don Shenk stated, ā€œFor places that have been consumed by darkness, the Gospel of Christ is a beacon of light that provides a way for people to have a meaningful relationship with God. We at The TideĀ® are humbled by the idea that God is still utilizing this organization to reach his lost children, and we will continue to share the message of Christ until He calls us home.ā€

Recent testimonials from India, Nepal, and Bhutan display the presence of God in the area. One listener, a 28-year-old woman, was suffering from a swollen face and leg that modern medicine deemed ā€œuntreatable.ā€ The woman and her husband turned to the local witchcraft and lore of the area, but nothing worked. Doctors and shamans alike told her that nothing could be done other than pray to the gods for a quick end. When local Christians heard about her plight, however, they were moved to help. They prayed and fasted for her health, and she was miraculously healed. When she returned to the doctor, everyone was shocked to see that she was fully cured from this life-threatening ailment. The woman and her husband are now avid church attendees and are pursuing a relationship with God.

Another listener wrote in, saying, ā€œI listen to your radio program regularly. My life is changed through your radio program and I have received a new hope in my life. I had been disturbed in my life but now my life is changed. I trust in the Lord and want to live for Him.  Please pray for my spiritual growth.ā€

Shenk reflected on the ministryā€™s tangible impact in peopleā€™s lives, saying, ā€œIt is edifying to hear from viewers who are touched by the content of the programs. It is amazing when we hear from unbelievers that they have been uplifted or are now putting their faith in Christ.ā€

Itā€™s stories and testimonials such as these that remind Shenk and the rest of the team at The TideĀ® ministry of the eternal purpose that they are working towards. As they celebrate the past 75 years of global missions, The TideĀ® ministry also is looking forward to the next seven decades with their plan called ā€œThe TideĀ®Diamond Vision:ā€
