Combatting Religious Blurring of Gospel Message in Cameroon

We recently announced a new ministry outreach in Cameroon, a nation fraught with religious persecution. Despite being labeled as a predominately Christian country, religion tends to blend with local superstitions of the region rather than adhering to the standards of the Bible, resulting in a new pseudo-Christianity.

The paganization of Christian foundations is such a tragedy, and it’s easy for new believers to blend the Gospel with the traditions in their regions, resulting in a mixed-up religion that is not Christianity at all. This is why it’s so important for new believers to find a strong community of like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ and really dig into the Word. This blending of different religions, or religious syncretism, happens all across the world. Approximately one in four Americans regularly attend a religious service that differs from their own personal beliefs, and many blend Christianity with Eastern or New Age practices.

We utilize local languages to share the unerring Word of God to millions of listeners who might not have heard the Gospel before. In order to combat the confusion of local religious influence, mistranslations, or any other issues that might transpire, we work to focus purely on the message of Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to bring His light in areas surrounded by darkness.

We are so excited to be bringing the unerring Word of the Gospel to Cameroon through our radio broadcasts. Our hope is for the true Gospel to reach the ears of those who have been trapped by the lies of local religious customs and traditions.

We invite you to pray alongside us for the people of Cameroon and all over the world. Your prayer and support of the ministry allows us to continue sharing the Good News through radio and television in places that may not otherwise have access. Thank you!
