The Way Back to the Master

Acts 3:19-20

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

We all need spiritual revival or renewal. The world seems to be so
busy and we are engrossed by everyday activities, but is God present
in those activities? We need to constantly check ourselves and do
self-introspection. This is the time we looked inside ourselves and
asked if we are still walking with God.

James 4: 7- 9 says, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the
devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come
near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you
double-minded.  NIV

As Revelations 2: 5 would say, “Remember therefore from where you have
fallen; repent and do the first works…”  NKJV

Tips to get back on track:
1)      Repent (Acts 3: 19 and 2 Chronicles 7: 14)
2)      Read his Word (Psalms 119: 9, 11, and 27)
3)      Meditative on the word (Joshua 1 8, Psalms 1: 2)
4)      Pray (1 Thessalonians 5: 17, 2 Chronicles 7: 14)
5)       Fellowship with other Christians

You remember the story of the prodigal son when he realised that he
was far from the Father? (Luke 15: 11- 32). He came to himself and
returned to the Father. Come, Come to the Father!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to you acknowledging that I sinned and
lost my first love. Forgive and wash me clean from all my sins. I
thank you for your undying love in Jesus Name. Amen.
